Gibson MK-72 1976
Gibson MK-72 (1976) Grand Auditorium, Rosewood-Spruce, Original Case, EC
By coincident, because we hardly see them anymore, This is another one of those underestimated vintage mark series guitars. A 1976 Gibson MK-72 Acoustic Flat Top. The MK-72 is the bit higher end MK series (compared to the MK-35) and produced between 1975 to 1979 and featured a sloped shouldered and in this case particulary nicely grained Indian Rosewood body, spruce top, round soundhole, removable pickguard, bound body, mahogany neck, 20 fret fingerboard, fan bridge and fan bracing, an amazing 3 ply fingerboard that is beautifully structured, black-face snakehead peghead, 3 per side chrome Gibson tuners and script “Gibson” logo. Right arm rest. Original case.
